Follow Joe and Leah aboard SENECA

Sailing this weekend

So as some of you know I have been living sans phone since just after thanksgiving. Well just as I had given up and asked some friends to send their old phones (capt Morgan actually bought me a new one and sent it!) my iPhone arrived. Four weeks in the mail. Last night I made a score of calls and reveled in the sounds of familiar voices.
So this weekend I sailed. This morning I made an early run in for gas and I finished a couple of boat projects and then I sailed out of Coral Bay towards the horizon. I put out three fishing lines and headed on a broad reach at 5 1/2 knots. It was a great afternoon. Four hours and two barracuda later I am anchored in Christmas Cove off St James Island near St Thomas. I jumped in and scraped the bottom for an hour, did my dram, i am watchong the sun drop down and now I can post from Seneca from nearly anywhere. So life is very good down here and I should be posting more frequently now that I am connected to the world again
