SEEJOESAIL

Follow Joe and Leah aboard SENECA

43.0261 N 89.0008 W

So my heading was right I just overshot the waypoint by a few hundred miles.  I am now in Madison Wisconsin with my brother and his family.  Everything is great with everyone and it is great to be out here being Uncle Joe again.  Although the weather is great, 70 and sunny, this is still the coldest I have seen in a few months.  This week I fly out of Chicago to South Carolina and then make my way to Virginia for The Pig Roast.  Then sometime in Mid June I will be back on SENECA and continue to sail north.

  1. It has been an eventful trip! Now you really can retire 🙂 Take your time sailing up. Enjoy every moment. We had a great month with you and are so thankful for all the things we were able to do. Now go enjoy your peace.

  2. “French Kissin’ Life”

Don’t really know what day it is
Been rocking nine days in a row
All I know is it’s hurricane season
And any minute she’s gonna blow

I need a shave and I need some rest
I know some people are worried about me
But I’m french kissing life square in the mouth
    Sailing out on the sea

    Went through customs and immigration
    Still this feels like home
I’m floating ’round through Gorda Sound
With a cooler and a bong

    Maybe I could’ve been a pirate
Maybe in my next life that’s what I’ll be
French kissing life square in the mouth
    Sailing out on the sea

Tonight I don’t need to feel famous
Out here all I feel is free

French kissing life square in the mouth
    Sailing out on the sea
    Maybe I could’ve been a pirate
Maybe in my next life that’s what I’ll be
French kissing life square in the mouth
    Sailing out on the sea

  3. Yeah! You made it to the Bahamas! It was so great to hear your voice. You sounded proud, excited, tired, and elated all at the same time. You also sounded so content and happy all the to your soul. You really are a sailor. Sail safe – watch out for pirates. We miss you!
